Chris Ruben entered the pet industry importing bully sticks, pig ears, and other body-part treats from Europe into the U.S., eventually establishing domestic manufacturing in 1990. He founded CMR Creative Marketing Resources, Inc., to export natural pet treats and foods to Australia, Canada, EU, Japan, and Korea. Chris has developed, sourced, sold, imported, exported and registered hundreds of branded and private-label pet foods, treats, and supplements. He has strong working relationships with state and federal compliance officials.
